Each year I try to do a blog post encouraging everyone within driving distance to attend the Hardy Plant Society of Oregon spring plant sale, this time I’m going to use someone else’s words to tell you just what a fabulous event this is…
“This sale is probably now the biggest and best in the Northwest. With over 100 (!) nurseries present it is well worth the drive from the Seattle area. In fact, in our first year of participation in this sale last year, I met people from as far away as Bellingham, Boise and Sacramento who came to this sale because they thought it was the best one, period! And I would agree – it's a whole expo hall full of plants! And if you're in Portland, well, you're just lucky to have this event in your home town.” – Ian Barclay, The Desert Northwest
See? You should go! To further tempt you here’s a sneak peek at what Xera Plants will be taking to the sale, some friends and I paid a visit to the nursery yesterday and got a look at what they'll be dazzling you with.
